Vitamin C and Sciatica

Sciatic Pain

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the dubious pleasure of suffering from an inflamed sciatic nerve. I can’t tell you how it got inflamed all I know is that it’s inflamed and really pissed off at me. If you’ve never suffered from sciatica pain consider yourself lucky. Sciatica – More Painful Symptoms Not realizing… Read more

Belly Fat or Belly Bloat?

Fat Belly

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed my ever expanding waistline. I know that as we get older sometimes we put on weight in the midsection area, but this weight gain had me mystified. Blood Pressure Kit

Last week I found a dual use for my blood pressure cuff. Okay, let me back this up a bit. Quite some time ago I bought a blood pressure cuff. I can’t remember why. It might have been when my Mom was sick or when someone in the house was running borderline high blood pressure… Read more

Back in the old days, aluminum foil (aka tin foil) was used to wrap just about everything.  Kids went to school with their lunch box fully packed with sandwiches wrapped in it.  Pickles were wrapped in aluminum foil and so were the homemade snacks.  Just about everything we carried in our lunchbox was wrapped in… Read more

Treating Asthma Naturally

An asthma attack can be triggered by airborne allergens, food reactions or even burning the candle at both ends and not getting proper rest. A run down body is more susceptible to illness than a healthy rested one. It usually presents itself by shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing. My son would have a harsh never ending cough. No matter how much cough medicine or tea I would give him, it would not resolve the cough. Anyone with a child that suffers from asthma recognizes the cough.
